“This property struck me as a particularly charming stay, given its integration with a traditional British pub. The emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and the ability to accommodate vegetarian diets are significant advantages, and the central location makes it easy to explore Bath's historical sites. The Black Fox is prized for its superb location, placing guests moments away from attractions like the Abbey and Baths. Many find the rooms clean, spacious, and comfortable, especially appreciating the cozy beds and effective heating. A highlight for many is the delicious breakfast with ample options. Some guests have noted that the building can shudder slightly when heavy traffic passes by, however, the overall experience is considered good value.

wonderful central stay!

central location great breakfast friendly staff
The location was superb. i walked to the roman baths and the abbey within minutes. Everything was so close! the breakfast had a really lovely selection, and the food tasted excellent. all the staff i met were friendly, especially henry. I felt welcomed.
the tv didn't have signal, and i could only use it with streaming apps with a personal account. this was a little inconvenient after a long day.
Facilities

The hotel had a good range of local craft beers, ciders, and spirits. I found something new to try each evening! the inclusive breakfast in the room rate included quality ingredients with generous portions, i really appreciated that.

central location generous portion great shower narrow stairwell vegetarian food bad tv signal
the location, i tell you, its so central. it's close to everything really. i also liked the breakfast. it had generous portions, i must say. the shower in my room was also great. it had good pressure and temperature were constant.
the stairs was narrow. it was a challenge lugging my luggage up there. also, i noticed the tv had no signal. streaming was the only option, which requires a personal account. plus, the vegetarian food choice was bad. i had asked beforehand, which makes it more irritating.
